At Raymond James Ltd., embracing our spirit of social responsibility and giving back to the communities in which we live and serve our clients is a key value on which we continue to build our firm. We believe it is our collective duty to help those most in need.
Keeping with this tradition in 2013, the Raymond James Canada Foundation Committee decided to annually recognize the month of May as Raymond James Cares Month. The goal of this month-long event is to encourage all associates across the firm to reach out in their local communities and volunteer their time.
We are proud to report that this year we volunteered 1,349 hours across Canada to a variety of non-profit and charity organizations! Some of these organizations included: the Ronald MacDonald House, Start2Finish, The Scott Mission, Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada, the YWCA, etc.
Throughout the month of May, Raymond James branches across the country collected a total of 659 lbs. of food to donate to food banks across Canada.
Across the firm, our people volunteered their time and talents to make a difference in the lives of others. We support and applaud their efforts, as we have a shared vision to make a positive impact on our communities. We are very proud that over 400 employees and associates donated their time to help more than 62 charities, and better the communities in which they live and work
Please join us in congratulating our employees and associates for their efforts during Raymond James Cares Month.
